So yeah in this AU the Hollow Troupe have a ritual just like the Grimm Troupe, I might get round to designing different stages for the Hollow Kin to reflect how Grimmchild changes as you find them more flame to consume. I also based the shade off of the Knight’s shade because why wouldn’t I do that? I know the shades are referred to as siblings but I personally didn’t think Hollow Sibling sounded as good as Hollow Kin. My thought process behind the name was that Grimmchild involves Grimm’s name so I decided that Hollow’s version of the Grimmchild would work the same way. What do you guys think? I gave them tear-like markings because I see a lot fanart of Hollow crying infection so I decided to stick with the tear theme here.Īlso what is the master of the troupe without a successor, Grimm had Grimmchild and Hollow has Hollow Kin. I also added some markings to their mask because the Grimm troupe have that, and they looked a little boring to be a master of a troupe without it. I took the Hollow Knight’s colour scheme and brightened it up a bit because they’re the leader of a troupe, and they haven’t been wasting away in the black egg temple for who knows how long. Now I did think about calling the Hollow Troupe the Void Troupe instead but I opted against that because the Grimm Troupe includes Grimm’s name in it, so I thought it would make sense if this version of the troupe did the same thing with the Hollow Knight, hence the name ‘The Hollow Troupe’. So I figured since in this AU the Grimmchildren have taken the role of the vessels, I thought it would only make sense if the vessels took the role of the Grimm Troupe. I said I would do more for the Grimm AU and I’m keeping to that promise :)
